LIFE CAN BE CHALLENGING.
WE ALL NEED SUPPORT
AND CONNECTION.
REACHING OUT CAN BE THE
BEGINNING OF MEANINGFUL CHANGE.

I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University in Los Angeles, where I specialized in Spiritual and Depth Psychology. During my graduate training, I studied Tibetan Buddhism in France, exploring its applications to the therapeutic process, and traveled to São Paulo, Brazil, where I studied the connection between spirituality and medicine. I have continued to deepen my understanding of these areas and their relationship to healing, self-awareness, and personal growth.

I am a Beck Institute CBT Certified Clinician and have completed EMDRIA-approved Basic Training in EMDR, as well as specialized foundational training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) with Dr. Kathleen Chard, co-developer of CPT for PTSD. These evidence-based approaches allow me to provide structured, research-supported treatment while tailoring therapy to each person's unique needs, goals, and preferences.

I believe therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process. Some clients benefit from the structure and practical skills of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-focused approaches such as EMDR or CPT, or specialized interventions such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for OCD. Others may be looking for a more exploratory space to understand longstanding patterns, deepen self-awareness, explore identity, or discover greater meaning and purpose. My goal is to create an individualized therapeutic approach that honors each person's experiences and what they hope to achieve through therapy.

Before beginning my private practice, I worked in community mental health providing individual and couples therapy, as well as in various treatment center settings. These experiences allowed me to work with a wide range of concerns, including eating and body image issues, OCD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other life challenges.

My approach also incorporates mindfulness, meditation, and Jungian psychology when these practices align with a client's goals. I believe these approaches can offer valuable opportunities for self-reflection, emotional awareness, and personal growth, and I continue to explore the ways these practices can support the therapeutic process.

I am also committed to contributing to the broader mental health and advocacy community. I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT) and currently serve on CAMFT's Political Action Committee. I also serve on Respect Together’s Board of Directors, contributing to the organization’s strategic leadership and governance as it works to support survivors, advance victims’ rights, and prevent sexual abuse, assault, and harassment. Additionally, I am a member of Pro-Choice Therapists, reflecting my commitment to providing compassionate, affirming care that respects each person's experiences, values, and autonomy.

Beyond my clinical work, I enjoy writing and speaking about mental health topics and contributing to broader conversations about wellbeing and community. I was a speaker at NAMI Florida's 2024 conference, where I presented "Social Media and the Loneliness Crisis." I also presented at Vanier College's Social Science Festival in October 2020, with a talk titled "The Importance of Mental Health and Community."

My writing on community and mental health has been featured by NAMI, and additional media contributions and speaking engagements can be found on my media page.

I approach therapy with the understanding that every person has a unique story. By building a therapeutic relationship grounded in empathy, curiosity, and compassion, I strive to create a space where clients feel safe to process, heal, and grow. Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, and I appreciate the courage it takes to reach out. Taking that first step toward support can be the beginning of meaningful change.

I am currently licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California (LMFT118838), Florida (MT4801), and Connecticut (003615), and provide secure online therapy to clients located in these states.
